Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Viandita, the user (hereinafter, "the User") agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Viandita is a technological platform that connects independent cooks ("Vendors") with consumers ("Buyers").

2. Nature of the Platform

Viandita acts exclusively as a neutral intermediary. It does not prepare, handle, package, or deliver food. The contractual relationship for the sale of food is established directly between the Vendor and the Buyer.

3. Disclaimer of Liability

The Vendor is solely responsible for the hygiene, quality, condition, and safety of the food offered. Viandita does not guarantee nor is it responsible for food poisoning, allergies, or any damage resulting from the consumption of the food. Furthermore, Viandita is not responsible for the actions or omissions of users nor for technical failures in the blockchain network or the Lemon Cash wallet.

4. Payments and Escrow System

Payments are made in USDC through the blockchain network integrated with Lemon Cash. Funds are held in a Smart Contract (Escrow) until the Buyer confirms receipt or the protection time expires. Viandita does not have direct access to the funds in custody.

5. Regulatory Compliance (Argentina)

Vendors operating from private homes in Argentina declare they are aware of and comply with Article 152 of the Argentine Food Code (CAA). This includes respecting daily production limits to be considered small-scale producers and the obligation to allow health department inspections in their kitchens to verify hygiene and quality.

6. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes, the Escrow system will act according to predefined parameters. Any legal claim must be directed against the direct counterparty (Vendor or Buyer) and not against Viandita.
